Can you distinguish a Nordic storm hat and a libbsticka? Otherwise, it 's probably a good idea to learn it, otherwise you could be hurt, which could have happened after a visit to a commercial garden in South Gotland.
A man visiting the garden was looking for a spice plant, libbsticka, and that was also what he thought he had brought with him when he had left the garden.
Toxic plant was sold as a spice
Soon, the staff realized mistakes: the man had brought with him a Nordic storm hat, a poisonous plant that, in the worst case, could be fatal. They went out by doing a search on Facebook and urged the man to get in touch with them.
On Monday, the message came that the hunt had yielded: the man was found and not enough – he lives and has not eaten by the plant. According to the owner of the garden, Lars Jonsson, finding the right person has been a demanding job.
– We called and walked the village to try to find the person. Finally, we had a lollipop, says Lars Jonsson.
Regarding plant confusion, Lars Jonsson said that "it should not happen and it should not happen", and that it is a human error.
At the same time, he means that the risk that the customer eats from the factory was low because his taste was very bad. This did not stop some from criticizing the gardening trade in the Facebook commentary field.
– In one way or another, we had no idea that he would have these dimensions. I think that may seem more serious than that, but the gardener thought that it was important to do what you can, that is to say go on Facebook. It was so viral, says Lars Jonsson adding that he had not read the comments on the page.
"So in such situations, it happens that a lot of people come and have opinions on one and the other," he continues.
According to Lars Jonsson, the customer wanted to keep the Nordic Storm Hat, but it was nevertheless compensated by "an appropriate gift card". So maybe it will be a libbstick in the end?
