Wednesday afternoon, it is just before 5pm that the alarm is triggered as a result of a road accident on Route 66 south of Limedsforden, in the municipality from Malung-Sälen.

The rescue services, the ambulance and the police went to the place where it turned out that there was only one accident involving a car tourism for four people.
The Värmland ambulance helicopter was also alerted. He had to turn around because of bad weather.
According to the first data provided by the police and the emergency services, one person was not damaged, while the other three were reported to have been seriously injured. At 9 pm, the county council, Dalarna, announced that it was about two wounded and one injured minor.
Shortly after, at 9:07 pm, police announced that the fourth person – a 35-year-old man – had died as a result of his injuries.
