Agnes buried her sister's nerve – now someone stole her

Agnes Deckels sister Johanna Deckel left three months ago. Now, just two weeks after digging, someone dug up the urn with the ashes of the sister and flung it.

– At the beginning, only one was shocked. Then you become sad. We've already lost it once, now it's like losing the little we've left too. It was like losing her twice, Agnes told SVT.

In the past, it was discussed with other family members and people close to the sister that someone could steal funeral decorations like lanterns or angels. But they could never have imagined that it could happen.

– But there was no map of the world where anyone would come here and destroy it. It's so inhumane, it's impossible to get in and understand, Agnes said to SVT.

I did not know anything

This was a friend of Agnes, Johanna's sister, who was visiting the grave, and then she discovered that the grass around from the tomb looked strange. She immediately realized that something was wrong and contacted the graveyard administration who saw that the urn was not in place.

– It was Johannas' desire to have a cemetery where people could come with her. I felt it was disrespectful to us and especially to her, "Agnes says.

At this point, you do not know exactly what happened to the urn or who could be behind the theft, but the incident was reported by the parents of Agnes. "Although we wanted to see someone punished, our goal is to recover Johanna," Agnes says to SVT

At the Forest Cemetery, they are also surprised by the situation of the Johannas family.

– This is very unusual, this has never happened before. Not here in Stockholm and probably not elsewhere in the country, says Göran Höglund Deputy General Manager at Skogskyrkogården, SVT.

Applying for Help

Agnes asks for help on their social media to find out what happened at the urn and that the family just wanted to get them back ashes of his sister.

She writes:

"Someone is so mad at my dead sister.Swedish law without being so deeply offending and disrespectful towards Johanna and her relatives."
