Jhenny and Celine often ride on this road but this is the first time they meet a bear. The scale on which they rode was actually a snowmobile trail that runs from the village up to the top Kaxås and towards Söråsen.

When they reached the end of the ride, they saw that the bear was sitting 50 meters from the other side of a large alley. Meanwhile, Jhenny was calling his partner for help, but by that time, the bear had calmed down and disappeared into the woods.
– We had to cross his path or something and then he reacted with his hunting instincts because the horses were shining. Because it's quite unusual that bears are chasing people so long, says Jhenny. Afterwards, she thought a lot about what could have happened. If the horse had hit or if it had fallen.
– The only thing I thought was that I'm not falling. I've had problems with one leg since I had children, so if I had fallen I would not even be able to run. And I felt that the horses ran as fast as they could, while I knew that he wanted to take us, he did it, "said Jhenny.
This is not the first time Jhenny sees bears. 1.5 years ago, a bear ran in front of her car while she was returning from a caldera to Ede and, in the early summer, she saw a bird on the road to Keep. She is happy to have had the opportunity to see so many bears, but now she is happy and says that she just does not want to relive that.
