Annie Lööf thinks that Swedes can be very shy and that it can be difficult to contact us. She thinks Fadumo should engage in the community and find friends that way.
The Swedish radio journalist asks the center chief who is responsible for immigrants to find Swedish friends. She responds that it is always the responsibility of the individual to be careful, but that there are factors that the individual can not afford.
– We also know that there is a form of structural discrimination in Swedish society. There are prejudices, and that makes people with a different skin color, people from other countries, more difficult to get in touch with the Swedes simply. And that makes me so sad, says Annie Lööf.
Ekot journalist, Ivan Garcia, comments that it is interesting that Lööf addresses the issue of structural discrimination. According to Garcia, research has shown that Swedish society makes it difficult to enter the community.
