TRELLEBORG Jimmie Åkesson was opened in the hope that, together with "at least some of the moderates and Christian Democrats, the SD" could form a conservative bloc in Swedish politics. On Friday, moderates, Christian Democrats and Swedish Democrats held a press conference in Trelleborg. It was announced that KD and M would be in command and with SD – which became the largest party in the Trelleborg municipal elections – the majority will be supported. The agreement provides for M to receive the prestigious position of chair of the municipal council.
The cooperation in Trelleborg goes beyond cooperation with the SD of other municipalities. In addition to elective collaboration, which allows Social Democrats to be excluded from the preparatory work of the Presidencies, certain political issues are also discussed.
Jimmie Åkesson had long dreamed of building a new conservative bloc in Swedish politics. In a previous interview with Expressen before the elections, Åkesson had outlined three future blocks of Swedish politics.
"I'm talking about three blocks, where we have a conservative bloc, at least some of the Moderates, KD and we should be included, then we have a Liberal bloc with the center and the liberals, then a socialist bloc. purely parliamentary, we could imagine three parties, which would then become a socio-liberal and liberal bloc.This is not impossible at all, Åkesson said.

Helmuth Petersén was the opposition council for sustainable development during his last term.
"We've become the biggest party in Trelleborg and you know how it's going, no one wants to talk to us, but I've heard about it before talking to different parties." The moderators would talk to us. (Mikael Rubin) A very nice person too, we agree, says Petersen.

During the last term, the Social Democrats presided over the Center, the Party of the Environment and the Local Sovereign Party.
"It was important for me to rid the sparrows of power, we have succeeded now," said Helmuth Petersen.
Through electoral co-operation and 28 votes out of a total of 51 in the city council, KD, M and SD can stand apart from the presidencies of all the commissions with significant political power.
"It's a small return on investment (S has already closed the SD) but also a strategic right," Helmuth Petersen said.
He talks about some of the promises to make.
"I have been promised that seven of our eight promises will be held in the next 100 days, promises may seem minimal to some, but they are important to our constituents," Petersen said.
"Trelleborg was one of the first municipalities to settle in New Zealand's castle houses, however, they did not do it for Swedish citizens.
Which parties were behind this decision?
– Social Democrats, Center Party, Party of the Environment and Local Party, Söderslättpartiet. It's one of the first things we are going to tear apart, "said Helmuth Petersen.
Another topical issue, namely foreign citizens entering the housing lane, should also be dealt with in Trelleborg, he said.
– In the municipal housing society, 25% of the apartments will go to newcomers. It has been corroborated by a statement that it also applies to people in need. But this only concerns newcomers. We have a waiting line of 3,500 people. They get a sour cream and do not have to pay the rent if they can not. It's completely crazy. We'll take that away, "said Petersen.
Will there be a policy dialogue beyond these promises and you support the moderates as president?
– Before each meeting, we will talk. This does not mean that we will agree on all issues. We will be an opposition party. In a few years, a big question arises: it is drinking water and we are not in agreement. In fact, we agree with the Social Democrats.
How is the budget in the fall?
"We express our wishes in the budget of KD and M and vote in favor of it.
Why did you accept Trelleborg?
"We have good chemistry outside of politics." When we attend meetings and debates, I usually have the moderate (Mikael Rubin).
The moderate party leadership in Stockholm has already expressed its dissatisfaction that Hörbymoderater is cooperating with the SD.
"We will not cooperate with SD at the local, regional or national level," Deputy Secretary Anders Edholm told Aftonbladet. He also writes in a text message to Aftonbladet that the cooperation in Trelleborg violates the moderators' guidelines.
But the moderate Mikael Rubin has consulted the Skåne moderator's chairman, Lars-Ingvar Ljungman, on the way forward.
"At the national level, you do not have the same understanding of the fact that a third bloc was entered into politics, but I did not engage with the moderates to oppose another party, I wants to carry out a policy as moderate as possible, "said Mikael Rubin in Aftonbladet.
