According to the Keolis bus company, it was not preferable that the municipality of Falu not take care of the snow removal. Today, the company is claiming 360,000 SEK in damages, writes Dalarnas Tidningar.

"These are expenses that we have been able to document. But the real cost is several times higher, "Kent Svens, deputy director of Dalarna, told the newspaper.

The bus company enumerates a number of consequences of the lack of snow removal in winter 2017/2018. Among other things, the number of sick leave among Falun staff has increased dramatically due to the fragile and risky work environment.

At the same time, Keolis had to rent trucks to get in the car when the municipal service broke down.

Keolis filed the complaint last August and the municipality of Falu is still working on this case.
