Children advised the police with drawings – the driver caught up

Around the nursery school in Vattholma, north of Uppsala, a road with a speed limit of 40 kilometers per hour, except for nursery school, two other kindergartens and a school where it is not more than 30 km.

"We talked about driving just 30 kilometers to the hour, and older kids are aware of it," said Susanne Solander, director of the pre-ground.

Two weeks ago, more children reacted more clearly when a truck passed by.

Police passed twice – and caught fast drivers

An educator had the idea that the children would write to the police and they attached several drawings on vehicles to describe the situation. A week later – in the afternoon of last Monday – a police car arrived at the kindergarten and proceeded to speed checks.

"It was a little dark outside and many children had already returned home.The police arrived saying that they had planned to spend but that they had not had the They would be heard, but they would come back, says Susanne Solander.

Friday morning, at 7:15, the police again passed preschool and conducted speed checks and sobriety. In total, several drivers were taken away, one of whom was on the verge of losing the driver's license.
