Friday, the police arrived with a message that many feared.
A deceased person was found in search of missing Dante.
"Being present and conveying the message that everyone is afraid to hear is not an enviable task," says Christer Bartholdsson, 54, head of the local police district in Falkenberg.
For three days, Falkenberg searched day and night after the disappearance of 12-year-old Dante. Police officers, soldiers, coast guards, missing persons and hundreds of volunteers are constantly searching for him.
Outside the parking lot of the Vinberg Parish House in Falkenberg came the message that many feared. In a matter of seconds, searches were suddenly interrupted when local police district officer Christer Bartholdsson appeared before the press and residents of Falkenberg on Friday afternoon.
"You have done your studies and have the habit of talking to the local press, but standing and needing to convey the message that everyone is afraid to hear is not an enviable task." "Christer told Aftonbladet.

Dante, 12, disappeared Tuesday night.
"Go from one hundred to zero in a very short time"
The police used a strict search method throughout the week in the hope of finding Dante. At 3:41 pm, they found a deceased person at the Herting Generating Station. The body is not fully identified, but all indications are that it is missing Dante.
– It's a feeling of emptiness. You go from one hundred to zero in a very short time, "explains Christer Bartholdsson.
The search for a person, especially a child, concerns the beginning to the end.
"You always want to be one hundred percent successful, and the tremendous support we received was even more motivated, and everyone took a little extra," says Christer.
"You do not know that you are hungry, or wet socks or anything else." Everyone worked.
"I am human"
The search is ongoing since Tuesday.
"I am human and dad and work as a policeman. You are not a policeman in the sense that the mere fact of wearing the uniform is a complete layer of kevlar that does not give up anything. These are sick children and difficult to transmit.
The disappearance of Dante has engaged many, as noted Falkenberg.
"It's as if daily life has stopped – these are companies that have left vacant employees, businessmen who have left food and headlamps and thousands of volunteers, young and old, looking for Dante.
Now, one last message is waiting and the police body identification has arrived on Friday. Many people are sorry for what happened, but there is also a lot of love at the heart of the deepest sorrow.
"It's probably what I'll remember most about this week. It's not the negative, but what we've seen in the huge commitment." This with great respect for the parents and Dante's friends who have suffered unimaginable sadness, says Christer Bartholdsson.
