Eon warns skane shortage – fog can cope with emergency solutions

The Swedish electricity grid and Eon warn of a serious shortage in Skåne. Large customers may be in a hurry to sign new delivery agreements. After long waitings, Trafikverket received electricity contracts for the new four-lane railway linking Malmö to Lund.

This fall comes the alarm reports near a threatening loophole in southern Sweden. Barsebäck has been closed for thirteen years. The Ringhals 1 and 2 close around 2019-20. Oskarshamnsverket also intends to reduce the production of nuclear energy.
