Shortly after midnight, a powerful explosion occurred in a building in Persborg Square. The police were blocked by the whole place and bomb technicians went to the scene.

Some form of explosion had occurred in Persborg Square and police and emergency services had been forced to settle on the site. Once upon a time, it was found that the windows of a building were broken and that the entrance door had been badly damaged.
"It's really an explosion and it's a bigger blast than a banger," said Mats Attin, an internal police officer.
At 0200 hours, bomb technicians were in place to make sure everything was safe. After that, the police technicians will conduct an investigation at the scene of the crime. The blast seems to target a school of traffic, but no threat image should target it.
– There are no criminal links and no image of the threat. We will have to wait for the results of the technical investigation, says Mats Attin.
Above the room exposed to the blast, there are apartments and even some windows and the building in front were damaged.
"No blast was caused by the blast," said Mats Attin.
Police were blocked by the entire Persborg Square and parts of Lönngatan and Västra Kattarpsvägen. Rescue services mounted in the apartments at the top of the room and calmed the residents.
The police will investigate by examining which camcorders are on the scene of the crime.
"There should be some surveillance and we'll see what has been done," said Mats Attin.
