Färjestad has clearly explained with a new assistant coach.
It will be well acclaimed Peter Popovic, currently affiliated with the Swedish ice hockey team, who is responsible for training the team's tracks.

Popovic has played in eight NHL seasons with the Boston Bruins, Montreal Canadiens, Pittsburgh Penguins and New York Rangers. He spent his longest stay in Montreal, where he played five seasons. In 485 NHL games, Popovic scored 10 goals, 63 assists and 73 points.

Peter Popvic currently lives in Västerås.
– I arrive with a big heart, a lot of energy and hockey skills.
In 2001, he returned to Sweden after leaving the United States and Södertälje SK to finish his career in 2005/06.
Popovic also worked as head coach for Södertälje SK between 2009 and 2011 and is also assistant federal coach of the 2011-2012 season at Tre Kronor.
