On Thursday, rescue services received a warning about an alleged fire in a garage in Celsiusgatan Malmö.
The garage is under a Willys store. Relief and police were called to the site.
Staff and customers evacuated the Katrinelund shopping center, according to information provided to Kvällsposten. There should be about 50 people standing in the street outside the room.
Dust was perceived as smoke
Once on the scene, the emergency services found that there was no fire or release of dangerous smoke that had been fired.
– Someone emptied one or two powder leaks at the garage. Then people nearby have perceived it as a smoke due to the spread of powder dust throughout the room, "said Mattias Sköld.
The rescue services and the police could leave the scene.
