Insurrection at the base: a destiny for the morale of the moderators

Moderates are a party in ideological and organizational crisis. Christian Democrats do not want to be better but are fond of it. In Skåne Hörby, Trelleborg and finally Sölvesborg in Blekinge, the two bourgeois parties were shaken by local delegates who violated the central provisions at the national level prohibiting cooperation with the Swedish Democrats. In Hörby and Trelleborg, it was "only" the elective collaboration, which would nevertheless vote in SD for the president of the municipality of Hörby. In Trelleborg, there was talk of securing your own power with the support of SD.

Moderate party leader Ulf Kristersson has always been clear: it is not a moderate policy to seek the support of the Swedish Democrats, to negotiate with them or even to work with them. "This is not party policy"He said in an interview with the management of Malmö Central Station a month before the election, announcing that Staffanstorp's strongman, Christian Sonesson, had opened for interviews and possibly for collaboration with SD.

But neither or now Kristersson has the ears of his own partner. In a shocking popular revolt orchestrated by Lars-Ingvar Ljungman, moderators of Skåne, Skåne moderates decided to support the Moderates as a decent party. Allehanda Ljungman of Trelleborg said this weekend: "Then we can change the guidelines"The Ljungman rebellion has spread beyond the borders of Skåne.

On Tuesday, a historic press release was sent. For the first time, the moderate party newspaper was sitting next to the Swedish Democrat. Even the KD and the local SoL party called for a press conference on Wednesday. These were fears: the moderate and Christian Democrats support the election of Louise Erixon, Swedish Democrats, to the post of city council president in Sölvesborg.

Ulf Kristersson loses control of his party. During a visit to Vellinge Wednesday, Kristersson criticized his party companions:

"It's not our way of working, we have to adhere to party politics," he told Sydsvenskan, adding:

"It is well known that we do not cooperate and that we do not negotiate with the Swedish Democrats – it is a policy that applies also in our municipalities.

It is difficult to Take Ulf Kristersson seriously. In essence, the returns are ineffective. What is happening now is a direct challenge to Kristersson's leadership. In the long run, it is a possible division: between a liberal and decent false-facto and a false conservative of moderates who see no problem in cooperating with a party of its political program with a term as "inherited essence" of different peoples, kind of semantic racial biology.

On a photo in the southeast, Emilie Pilthammar, head of the local moderates group, is next to Louise Erixon of SD. Both make up the thumb. Behind them are party organizers with the M logo and the SD fan. It's an unimaginable image.

Ulf Kristersson stands facing a railway crossing. Initiate the cases of exclusion of their moderate party companions or take their point of view. The permanent reminder of the non-compliance party rules eliminates the credibility of Ulf Kristersson. Not to say the moderate leaders of the total bourgeoisie.
