The rescue service fights the devastation caused by the fire at Lesseberget, just north of Ekshärad in the municipality of Hagfors.
An evacuation order was issued in eastern tuna. Police began evacuation and all residents are invited to go to the town's ordination house, writing Swedish radio just after 8 pm Sunday night.
The fire has spread to 17 hours over 1 km by 1.5 km. But according to Håkan Finnkvist, fire chief of Hagfors, he has been widely used ever since.
– I do not have accurate information, but I would appreciate it being a much bigger area now, he says just before 8 pm.
The emergency department called the public in areas to stay indoors and close windows, doors and ventilation.
He also began to prepare to evacuate two neighboring villages.
According to Håkan Finnkvist, the work of extinction is currently underway and the fire seems to be spreading all the time.
– This is good at all. We have no control right now, he says.
A total of 55 firefighters and three helicopters work with the fire. It is hoped a reinforcement in the form of additional helicopters on the site.
