When moderators present their budget motions on Friday, the focus will be on reforms in favor of jobs and growth. Party leader Ulf Kristersson and economic spokeswoman Elisabeth Svantesson wrote on Dagens Nyheter's discussion page that they wanted to take steps to abolish the welfare tax and increase the tax deduction.
"It is better, therefore, that more workers make a contribution to work." A triple RUT deduction helps create jobs easier, "they write.
Next year already, the moderates want to increase the resources allocated to the welfare of SEK 5 million to municipalities and county councils in Sweden.
Even defense investments will reach 2% of GDP. They want to invest a total of 18 billion SEK in defense during the period 2019-2021.
The motion on the budget also presents a proposal to strengthen the police authority by increasing the number of police employees by 10,000 people by 2024.
"The moderators' budget movement achieves a bourgeois policy that can give a new direction to Sweden," they write on the page of the debate.
