About a third of them, whose main income comes from any security system, has a lot of the time, such as illness, labor market policy or financial assistance.
According to Statistics Sweden (SCB) in the report "The first 15 years – the offer of refugees in Sweden".
In its report, the authorities examined how the 30,600 people who immigrated to Sweden between 1997 and 2001 for reasons of refugee status or as refugees lived in Sweden in their first 15 years.
The report also shows that 30% of those who came to Sweden as refugees in those years quickly came to work, while it took longer for 27%. In the latter group, young people and people from Africa and Asia are overrepresented.
