A survey reveals that Britain is one of the seven richest countries in the world where people are most comfortable with women leaders. There is a lot of inferiority in Germany – with the leader who fought the longest in Europe.
In G7 countries, about 10,000 people between the ages of 15 and 65 were asked about their views on women leaders in politics and trade. With an index of 100 points maximum, Great Britain obtains 72, followed closely by France and Canada. The worst is Italy with 57 points and the second worst on 59 points is Germany, where Angela Merkel has been Chancellor of the United States since 2005.
"There is still much to be done for society to take into account the individual capabilities of any person, regardless of sex," said Silvana Koch-Mehrin, a former Liberian parliamentarian who founded a network behind the investigation.
