The explosions occurred every 20 minutes. At first, an 18-year-old man was injured. He is suspected of having participated in the explosion that occurred in a residential building in Västra Söderkulla. The next explosion occurred two kilometers away in the district of Kroksbäck.
"We are seeing a relationship," said Mattias Sigfridsson, deputy director of the police district in Malmö.
There are military explosives used. The injured man is detained, but he has not been heard because of his injuries.
"Time allows us to say that this is not the same culprit for both explosions," said Mattias Sigfridsson.
