On Wednesday, the new parliamentary term will begin after the elections. The most important item on the agenda is the election of the Regional Council and Regional Council for the next four years.

The Swedish Democrats had not called the substitutes to the General Assembly. This meant that there was an empty place at the meeting. The party intends to seek proportional elections in the same manner as the Uppsala City Council.

In order to ensure that a substitute called, they would arrive on time, party members repeatedly asking the word under the election of the auditors.

Other parties protested against the procedure.

"It is terribly embarrassing that our party is abusing the rules to create troubles in the congregation and prolong the meeting, which is costing our region money," said Jenny Lundström (MP).

However, Simon Alm (SD) insisted that auditing was an important function and continued to debate the issue of listeners until the Swedish Democrats replaced Östhammar at 11.30am.
