SMHI is coming out with several warnings for the weekend.
In the north of Sweden, the winds can reach the orchestra.
This week-end, there is a lot of wind in the north of Sweden and SMHI has issued several warnings. The night before Saturday breaks out and it will also snow in several directions.
In Jämtlandsfjällen, where the world championships in Åre are ongoing, there is a Class 1 warning for high winds with snowfall, reduced visibility and snow drifts.
Hurricane warning issued
The further north you come, the worse the weather is. From Västerbotten and north, SMHI issues class 2 warnings. The fiercest will be in the mountains of northern Lapland where SMHI announces a hurricane Saturday, with winds of up to 35 meters per second. In addition, it should snow.
Stormy cities are also expected in the mountains of southern Lapland, as are the inner regions of Norrbotten and Västerbotten.
Saturday night, the winds will decrease.
