Class 1 warnings are issued in the morning for the counties of Stockholm, Uppsala, Östergötland, Örebro, Västmanland, Västra Götaland, Halland, Jönköping, Kronoberg and Skåne, with the exception of Österlen.

At the same time, there are class 1 warnings about snowfall in inner Dalsland and Värmland, where they can reach a decimetre of snow. Snowfall should turn into rain during the evening, which means that they may slip.

The risk of slipping occurs result from a low pressure, with softer air and some rainfall, from the Norwegian Sea that moves into the southern part of the country.

"The rain falls on very cold roads and freezes, which makes the game very slippery," says Moa Hallberg at TT.

In the south of Jämtlandsfjällen, SMHI warns on Thursday that the weather is too windy, with wind currents of 18 to 24 meters per second.
