Suspicious child work in Skultorp: journalist takes his concerns very seriously

It all started with an article on a closed Facebook group where a parent wrote an article on Tuesday that his daughter was arrested by an average-aged man in a blue van. The man should have asked the girl if she wanted to accompany him. Even the school and the police should have been informed of the incident. In addition, it was announced that "the police received more business of the same nature and the same car".

But according to the police, the incident was not reported.

– We received three, four media interventions with the same question. if we have a notification. But unfortunately, we do not know anyone, police said during the investigation.

The post on Facebook sparked strong reactions and was commented.

The teacher at Billingsdal School stated that the school did not report a police report because the incident occurred outside of school and was therefore not considered a school incident .

"What we have done is to increase our vigilance vis-à-vis those who are moving around the school.The good people come to pick up their children and we have also informed the students in the classes that 'They should not accompany strangers,' said Ulla Schmidt Dahlin.

According to her, everyone in school knows what will happen.

– We are going this morning for other classes. In addition, we always organize ambulatory outings and adult outings, a little more. Even when children are waiting for the bus or when the bus arrives in the morning. I am confident of what we do at school.

Ulla Schmidt Dahlin explains that you keep an eye on what is happening right in front of the school, for example, if a foreign car is driving down the street and even when strangers enter the school yard.

– There is always someone who asks who this person is. In 99% of cases, there is an artisan or just a parent or grandparent.
