It should have been Tuesday night at 8 pm that a police escalator attempted to stop a passenger car in Tensta, Stockholm.
The driver refuses to stop the vehicle and the police follow him after a short while, writing the police on his website. The trip ended when the car crashed into a tree and started to burn.
A large area around the accident was blocked.
A helicopter was inserted
According to information to Aftonbladet, the driver died on the spot. The magazine also writes that several patrols and a helicopter have been pursued.
The identity of the driver is not established and relatives have not been informed, the police said.
A police prosecutor is now charged with investigating the actions of the police. The prosecutor's office tells Aftonbladet that a preliminary investigation of service disputes was opened by prosecutors in the special prosecutor's chamber in the case.
