The Ebola vaccine will probably start being used in Congo Kinshasa next week, as a new outbreak of the deadly disease has declared in the east of the country.

According to the authorities, the new outbreak of the strain of Zaire virus is the same that required the lives of 33 people in the previous outbreak. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), 300,000 doses of vaccine can be delivered shortly, but the Minister of Health, Oly Ilunga Kalenga, says that there are still 3,000 doses in stock to carry this first step.

"I think we can start using the vaccine as early as next week," he said.

During the new outbreak, at least four people were tested positive for Ebola in and around the city of Mangina, about fifteen kilometers from the Ugandan border.
