People ran to escape the spaceships: "Kaos in the street"
Two riders fell from their horses when hunting at Hubertus on the farm – and the horses went to flee.
The animals passed the skin through Östermalm and continued on the E4. The shelters were then captured at Bergshamraleden.
"The horses arrived at a very high speed," says Adam Hagelberg.
On Saturday, at 1:30 pm, the police heard a large number of conversations that two horses escaped from Gärdet to Östermalm.
The animals appeared, among others, on the road to Valhalla and in the vicinity of the Ticino Park, according to Aftonbladet information.
– They arrived at a very high speed and, after a rider, tried to stop the animals. There was chaos in the street and the rescue of people was running away, "said Adam Hagelberg, who saw the animals as he sat on the bus to the office.
Fleeing the hunt at Hubertus
The horses started from the annual hunt at Hubertus organized by the Stockholm Fältrittklub in Gärdet and Djurgården.
"Two riders fell after jumping an obstacle and after the horses went astray," says Björn Beckman, president of the association.
The two people who boarded the rides were taken to the hospital with an ambulance.
"They knew, but I can not say more about their damage," Björn Beckman says.
Video clips of the event show how a horse stopped in front of an obstacle. After that, several backs entered the animal and at least two riders fell to the ground.
The riders treated
Agild Elrubei was standing at 7-Eleven Valhalla Road when the two brown horses suddenly shone.
"They had just passed by, I thought it was a show or something that the horses look as much as Gården," Agild says.
After the stolen horses rushed past Agild, a gray horse arrived with a rider on his back at a gallop.
– The rider chased the other two horses. I think they had jumped far.
Intensified on the E4
The animals were then mounted on the E4, causing less traffic chaos when they headed north. Several police officers noted the pursuit of animals. At 1423, the police stated that the horses had been captured at Bergshamraleden.
– They were captured by passersby. We closed the Bergshamraleden because of that, "explains Towe Hägg to the Stockholm police.
"We noticed the road users that the horses were in traffic.We thank those who helped, this is not directly a common sight.
Hubertus hunt is a race with roots in Britain. Participants will follow a competitor on a path with multiple obstacles. The name comes from the saint of Sant Hubertus, which begins on November 3rd.
