The luxury electric car Audi GT Concept raises the resurrection in LA

Audi extends its series of E-throne electric cars with the sport variant GT. This is another sign that the electric car has entered the room.

Traditional car manufacturers have long been criticized by electricity enthusiasts for their design differs considerably from that of internal combustion engine models.

Tesla showed with the more classic Model S design that it was interesting to make volume sales even with battery cars.

There are now new times in the industry. The Audi car shown yesterday at the Los Angeles Auto Show is a prime example. On the outside, it's not obvious that the E-throne GT is an electric car. Instead, it looks like many of their luxury sports models with an internal combustion engine.

Performance at high state

However, under the hull, electrical performance is expected under the highest conditions. The 90-kilowatt-hour battery pack is enough to run 40 miles per WLTP standard. Both electric motors provide 590 horsepower four-wheel drive. 0-97 kilometers to the hour (0 to 60 miles to the hour) extend over 3.5 seconds.

The car is also equipped with an 800-volt battery system borrowed from the group's sophisticated Porsche, which offers phenomenal fast-loading properties of up to 250 kilowatts. Battery empty at 80%, lasts 20 minutes.

The GT will arrive on the market by 2020.
