Kiruna IF and Kiruna AIF separate for the third meeting of the season in the context of the Wednesday series.
In the previous two meetings, the AIF was the strongest team and IF is now seeking revenge.
On Tuesday, it was clear that the club had recruited Slovakian striker Dominik Michalica, 25, from Kalix HC.
Michalica scored 1 goal and 6 assists in 21 games at Kalix this year, but for two seasons SK Lejon fared better with 10 goals and 12 assists in 34 games.
– He is a player with offensive qualities. But he's not a savior, but a player who evolves in Kiruna to develop himself as a hockey player and who, just like the other players, has to work alongside ice hockey to have food on the table, says KIF coach Robert Lahti on the team's website.
– It will give us the necessary competition in the team. We are preparing for the Wednesday derby against Kiruna AIF, said Robert Lahti.
