The snow and the snow-capped pans meet the crowd

Now, the new eyebrows of the Etseri Zoo, the giant pennants Jin Bao Bao and Hua Bao, are meeting the public for the first time when the new pandahouse opens. The first time in Finland, quarantined, is over.

The pandas, who in their new homeland have received the most refined nickname, Lumi (Snow) and Pyry (Snowy), have been hired in China for a period of 15 years. They should become the new attraction of the park and increase the number of visitors from 200,000 per year to about 300,000.

Much of the rental income, as China plans to lease pandas to foreign zoos, will strengthen the future of this species.
