The tents in Solna are gone: "We must dismount it"

SOLNA The tent camp established by a group of immigrants on a Solna hill has now been rejected by the police.

About 15 migrants were expelled from the municipality's refugee residents on the expiry of their so-called two-year settlement period. They then reacted by setting up a tent camp outside the house where they were forced to spend the night.

The camp was on the ground with a camping ban and the police removed the tents on Wednesday morning, following a request from the municipality.

"The police were present tomorrow at 7 am, I think, and removed the tents," said Solna Town press secretary Rasmus Sandsten.

When News Idag's reporter was in tent camp late Sunday night and early Monday morning, the tents were empty. Rasmus Sandsten does not know if the migrants actually slept there.

Anna Westberg, police press secretary, said that the accident had gone well.

"There were about seven tents and people had to dismantle the tents themselves," she wrote in an email. Rasmus Sandsten confirms that the city of Solna has not collected tents or other objects without the "residents" doing it themselves.

Samnytt says the migrants have left without having to take the tents. We refer to the images in DN.

According to Anna Westberg, the migrants told the police that they were sleeping in the tents.
