economy Tour operator Vinggruppen, also known as Thomas Cook Northern Europe, reports an annual profit of SEK 1.45 billion for the year ended in September.
It is the second best operating profit of the history of the company and at the same level as the previous year, says the company in a press release.
A year earlier, the profit was 1.46 billion.
"Despite the negative effects of summer bookings on the long-term warming of the Nordic region, I am very pleased that we managed to get our second best ever result in the Vinggruppen," said Magnus Wikner , Managing Director of Thomas Cook Northern Europe, in a press release.
On the other hand, Thomas Cook's shares broke out on the London Stock Exchange earlier this week, as the group's management reduced forecasts and canceled the dividend.
