Woshapp wants to minimize the environmental impact of a car wash. In addition to minimizing water consumption, they bring you the car wash and come by bike.
Woshapp was founded in 2017 by Jens Karlsson and Mark Owuya. The basic idea is to offer an eco-friendly car wash by sending car dealerships to customers, which they consider much better for the environment and more convenient for the car owner than the latter should. take the car for a regular car wash.
Woshapp strives to minimize its environmental impact at all stages of its business. Motorists go to cars and use biodegradable products. All dirt and environmentally hazardous chemicals that are removed are absorbed by microfiber floors, which are then washed by a certified laundry for the environment. This method uses 99% less water than a conventional car wash.
The company now receives SEK 10 million from Norrsken and a group of private investors, including Dan Castillo (founder of Online Pizza), Peter Sterky (formerly Spoitify) and Boel Rydenå Swartling (co-founder of Charge Amps). The capital will be used to build the organization and expand to other cities.
Woshapp already has several important customers, including DriveNow, Aimo and some of the biggest automakers. The company is now focused on meeting business demand, including evaluating the best way for Woshapp to meet the needs of the service car segment. At present, Woshapp services are available for private customers in Stockholm.
