A holiday plane from Ireland landed at Frankfurt-Hahn airport due to health issues with many passengers on board for security reasons. "About 30 passengers came to the hospital," a spokesman for the German Federal Police said on Saturday morning.

The Ryanair plane was Friday night on the flight from Dublin to the Croatian coastal town of Zadar when the captain asked permission to land in Hahn. "Several people on board complained of health problems and were treated by doctors and paramedics," the spokesman said.
However, he was not able to say what the passengers were suffering. The cause is probably a fault on board. More details about the incident were initially unknown.
