Because she did not have enough ketchup to her liking in a McDonald's, a Californian woman went crazy – and found herself behind bars.

Mayra Berenice Gallo, a 24-year-old girl, was arrested for beating and strangling an employee of the fast-food chain, an AFP police spokeswoman said Wednesday.
The incident on the surveillance cameras had caused a sensation. Gallo ordered food at McDonald's in Santa Ana at the end of October. Because she had no or not enough ketchup, she got angry and broke through a back door leading to the staff area.
The 24-year-old hit and smothered the manager of the restaurant, who had asked her to leave the premises. The fight only ended when a fellow Gallo stepped in and both left McDonald's. After clues of the population, the 24-year-old was finally arrested last Tuesday.
"We see it more and more often," said police spokesman Anthony Bertagna. For example, a man recently tried to buy treats in a store – and literally broke the market when his credit card was not working.
