A little after 3 pm on Tuesday, a patrol car turned around in a park on Schulstrasse 44 in Zurich. The driver reportedly neglected a 49-year-old wheelchair user and a child traveling together. The police car hit both people.
Because of the contact, the wheelchair user crashed. Fortunately, he only slightly hurt himself. To be sure, he was taken to the hospital to be examined, the city police in Zurich said. The 7 year old girl was injured in the accident by abrasions and bruises that could be treated on the spot as an outpatient treatment. To clear up this accident, the cantonal police of Zurich was called.
