Many high-end ideas affect the business class. They should make the flight even more luxurious. But even for the economic class, the proposals are extravagant. But does luxury make flying more expensive? Kurt Hofmann, aviation specialist at Hofmann Aviation & Consulting, says at 20 minutes: "Cheap flights can continue in the future, despite the most modern cabins and comfort."

"Prices are cheap"

The price of the ticket depends mainly on the intensity of competition on a route. Airlines are constantly looking to innovate in cabins. "But it has to be the bottom line," says Hofmann. Many ideas should not be feasible anyway. Basically, there are no limits to ideas for more comfort. In the end, kerosene is decisive for the price of the ticket. "Fuel is the highest financial contribution for an airline," says Hofmann.
