20 minutes – What Migros-Wichtel did at Coop is now clear

About two weeks ago, Coop announced on social media that it spotted the popular Migros gnome at one of its branches (20 minutes of reporting). The fight for Finn was open.

Where do you like to go shopping?

Now the battle continues on social media in the second round. "Dear Cooperative, we now know what Finn has done in your industry: he has brought you our powdered sugar for your Christmas advertising," wrote Migros yesterday on Facebook.

Migros has released a screenshot of the new Coop advertising. You can see a happy cooking scene. And: in the kitchen, a pack of Migros icing sugar!

In fact, Migros icing sugar is clearly visible in the advertisement published by Coop on 21 November.

However, the Migros product was subsequently excised. Thus, the foreign powdered sugar in the current version of the advertisement can no longer be found.

Coop obviously takes the whole thing with humor: "We weighed in with Finn, for us there was the icing sugar, for Finn a soft Noëlini cover," it says in the commentary under the Migros Post.

At the request of 20 minutes, Coop can not explain why the advertisement was false: "Things are sometimes fanciful during the season of Advent." Coop confirms that he then removed the Migros icing sugar from the place. "It looks like the stain of red wine on your favorite dress: even if the wine was good, the dress will end up in the laundry."
