For the first time in five years, another Miss Switzerland participates in the Miss Universe election. In the coming days, Jastina Doreen Riederer (20 years old) will represent her country at the Bangkok International Beauty Contest and on December 16th the grand finale will take place.

"We just have an approximate schedule," she said in a 20-minute interview. "I am very nervous and I am surprised." Even with which competitor she has to share the room, she has not yet done the experiment.
15 evening dresses and 20 artificial eyelashes
At least, you have to equip Jastina but leave nothing to chance. In any case, the proper wardrobe should be at hand. On the basis of an official packing list, she compiled several summer dresses, workout clothes, professional outfits and bikinis. Only toiletries fill almost a suitcase. And his pompous nation costume also had to find room in a luggage.
With six suitcases, she will take the plane on Wednesday. For comparison: Dominique Rinderknecht (29) – our last Miss Switzerland in the Miss Universe elections – went to Moscow in 2013 with three suitcases.
We wanted to know more and let Jastina count:

There is a lot of excess baggage that has gathered here. 90 kilograms weighed it and now it has been reduced to 80. "I will probably have to cancel more before leaving," says Jastina laughing.
"I want the crown"
If a suitcase does not find the way to Thailand, it would be the absolute super-GAU for the girl. "I do not even want to imagine what it would be like to be without a national costume," Jastina said.
Also very important: his talisman, which brought him luck in the elections of Miss Switzerland. The little stuffed doll is now supposed to lead her to victory in the Miss Universe election – it's Jastina's ambitious goal. "I want the crown," she says.
Jastina goes to Bangkok with six suitcases
But she must first go to the final on December 16th. Until then, his mother went to Bangkok. Jastina expects it particularly. "And I'll do my best to be in the top ten."
