A snake skin was discovered by a Münsinger on Saturday in his garage on the Zwiefalter Straße. The skin about 170 centimeters long was still slightly damp, but the corresponding animal was lacking trace first, informs the police.

The man has proved his bravery. Armed with gloves, he grabbed the animal, wrapped it in a cloth bag and handed his catch to the interim police.
Protected Animal
As the police investigation has shown, the snake is a very rare and, above all, strictly protected, the four-banded snake.
These four-band snakes are exclusively from Italy and Croatia and can only be kept here with a special permit, according to the police
passing knowledgeable hands. Maybe the snake was outgrown or even abandoned.
