Strong fall in ski jumping: Austrian Daniela Iraschko-Stolz jumped upside down after a jump of training. An exact diagnosis can not yet be made.
The best Austrian ski jumper, Daniela Iraschko-Stolz, is crushed during a training jump to Lillehammer.
The 35-year-old suffered a serious nasal injury, the Austrian Ski Association (ÖSV) reported on Tuesday.
Until now, it is not clear if she has suffered any other injuries. Apparently she also complained of knee pain.
After landing, Iraschko was proud of his situation and had flipped over into the exit slope of the factory.
Iraschko pride: participation in Lillehammer possible
The participation in the first competitions of the winter in Lillehammer Iraschko-Stolz has not yet said. "We have to see how the pain will develop in the coming days," said Harald Rodlauer, ÖSV coach.
If the pain allows it, from the doctors' point of view, it is also possible to start with a broken nasal bone. (Am / dpa)
