GdP is satisfied with the rules of the Bavarian border

B erlin (dpa) – The Police Union (GoP) is satisfied with the rules according to which the new Bavarian border police should be deployed. "This corresponds to our expectations," police union vice president Jörg Radek told the German press agency on Sunday. The Federal Ministry of the Interior had already stated that Bavarian police in the border area had to act "only in coordination with the federal police".

Border police began work on July 2nd. It should allow for tighter controls and more security at the borders of the Free State. Radek said that the Bavarian border controls were also "part of the political marketing of Prime Minister Markus Söder."
