"Es darf in der Gesellschaft keine Gleichgültigkeit gegenüber antisemitischen Übergriffen herrschen. Deshalb müssen wir auch Vorfälle unterhalb der Strafbarkeitsgrenze thematisieren und dagegen vorgehen", sagte der
Antisemitismusbeauftragte der Bundesregierung, Felix Klein, der "Rheinischen Post". Als Vorbild nannte er die Recherche- und Informationsstelle Antisemitismus in Berlin.

"Mein Ziel ist es, dass wir einen Überblick bekommen, wie viele antisemitische Vorfälle es unterhalb der Strafbarkeitsgrenze gibt – wie beispielsweise Pöbeleien, Schmierereien oder Anfeindungen", sagte Klein der Zeitung. Die Anlaufstellen sollen demnach über einen Bundesverband als Träger organisiert und durch Mittel des Familienministeriums finanziert werden. "Zuvor müssen wir Kriterien festlegen, was als antisemitischer Vorfall gilt", betonte Klein. "Ich hoffe, dass das System bis Ende des Jahres anlaufen kann."

Für Aufsehen hatte im April ein Gürtel-Angriff auf einen Kippa tragenden Israeli in Berlin gesorgt. Ein damals 19-Jähriger war deshalb wegen Beleidigung und Körperverletzung schuldig gesprochen worden.

Zum Vorrunden-Aus der deutschen Mannschaft sagte der 43 Jahre alte Fußball-Lehrer: "Bei Deutschland greift das Sprichwort: Im Erfolg macht man die größten Fehler. Nach dem WM-Titel haben die letzten Prozente in allen Bereichen gefehlt. Wenn überall zehn Prozent fehlen, dann hast du keine Chance." Er forderte Bundestrainer Joachim Löw auf, "den Konkurrenzgedanken" wieder hervorzurufen.

Vor der Präsentation von Reformplänen zur Rente hat das Institut der deutschen Wirtschaft (IW) das Vorhaben von Arbeitsminister Hubertus Heil (SPD) kritisiert. "Das Gros der Maßnahmen ist nicht geeignet, um treffsichere Armutsprävention zu betreiben", sagte Jochen Pimpertz, Experte für soziale Sicherung bei dem arbeitgebernahen Institut, der Deutschen Presse-Agentur in
Berlin. "Alles, was jetzt draufgesattelt wird, müssen jüngere Beitrags- und Steuerzahler zusätzlich zahlen."

Heil will an diesem Freitag seine Pläne für ein erstes Rentenpaket vorlegen. Nach seinen bisherigen Ankündigungen sind damit Verbesserungen bei der Mütterrente geplant, für Erwerbsminderungsrentner, eine Entlastung von Geringverdienern bei den Sozialbeiträgen und eine Stabilisierung von Rentenniveau und Beitragssatz bis 2025. Eine Grundrente für langjährig Versicherte und weitere Weichenstellungen für die Zeit nach 2025 sollen später folgen.

Trump hatte die Verbündeten beim Nato-Gipfel in Brüssel diese Woche mit Druck und Drohungen massiv bedrängt, rasch mehr in Verteidigung zu investieren und das Nato-Ausgabenziel von zwei Prozent der Wirtschaftsleistung zu erfüllen. Deutschland stand besonders im Visier.

Gabriel mahnte ein stärkeres Auftreten gegenüber Trump an. "Wir dürfen uns keine Illusionen mehr machen. Donald Trump kennt nur Stärke. Dann müssen wir ihm zeigen, dass wir stark sind." Die Wahrheit sei: "Wir können nicht mit Trump und nicht ohne die USA. Wir brauchen deshalb eine Doppelstrategie: klare, harte und vor allem gemeinsame europäische Antworten an Trump. Jeder Versuch, ihm entgegen zu kommen, jede Anbiederung führt nur dazu, dass er noch einen Schritt weiter geht. Damit muss Schluss sein."

Die Integrationsbeauftragte der Bundesregierung hat DFB-Präsident Reinhard Grindel und Teammanager Oliver Bierhoff für ihren Umgang mit Nationalspieler Mesut Özil kritisiert. Annette Widmann-Mauz sagte der "Süddeutschen Zeitung": "In dieser aufgeheizten Debatte rate ich allen Beteiligten, miteinander zu sprechen statt übereinander. Aus der berechtigten Kritik am Verhalten der Spieler darf keine pauschale Ausgrenzung von Spielern mit Migrationshintergrund werden."

In scharfen Worten verurteilte Gökay Sofuoglu, Vorsitzender der Türkischen Gemeinde in Deutschland, die DFB-Spitze: Grindels und Bierhoffs Beiträge "erinnern an die Haltung der rechtspopulistischen AfD, Menschen mit ausländischen Wurzeln zu Sündenböcken für alles Mögliche zu machen. Özil soll offenbar zum Sündenbock für das frühe Ausscheiden der Nationalmannschaft bei der WM gemacht werden", sagte Sofuoglu.
