A wheelchair user suffered minor injuries on Tuesday afternoon in Oerlikon, where a 7-year-old girl was injured with abrasions and bruises. The two men had been hit shortly after 3 pm by a police car from the Zurich city police, who were driving backwards from a parking lot at Schulstrasse 44.
"The wheelchair user crashed because of the touch," said the city police. The man had only slightly injured – for safety reasons, he was always taken to the hospital for control. The minor injuries of the girl could be treated as an outpatient.
The driver of the patrol car visibly forgot about the two people when backing up, the message says. The city police have now mobilized the township police to clarify the accident. (ANF / SDA)
