On the basis of testimonies, the police thought that the man was fleeing into a nearby forest. Police surrounded the forest and then announced that the man had been arrested shortly before 5 pm in the Ernetschwilerbach region. "He did not resist," says Hanspeter Krüsi.
There were several police patrols, dog handlers and a helicopter. Algerier, 22, is being held in Uznach. The man is not dangerous according to Krüsi.
