After the resignation of Arno Del Curto after more than 22 years in the group HC Davos, speculation about his succession begins. Different names have already been passed. A list of potential candidates.

HC Davos begins the assessment today. There are two scenarios in the room: a temporary solution until the end of the season or a solution beyond the current championship. The Canadian was released under mysterious circumstances in Lausanne in the fall of 2017 and has been waiting since a new job. Aged 48, he has had success in all his previous training (Olten, Straubing, Salzburg and in his first season also in Lausanne).

The former head of the HCD, the Wolf, has gained experience in the profession as a national team assistant and in coaching staff of the U18 selection. He still lives in Davos.

Josef Marha

The long-time player from Davos was one of the pillars of the masterful era of HCD. Trained last season in his native Czech Republic, under 16 years of Pardubice.

Alain Vigneault

Maybe the HCD is considering recruiting the new coach in the NHL's leadership. Davos enjoys an excellent reputation in Canada thanks to the Spengler Cup. Maybe a coach like Alain Vigneault, an unemployed person, would he be interested in a European commitment?

Konstantin Kurashev

The Russian was already involved between 1998 and 2004 as assistant and junior coach at HC Davos. He is currently training EHC Chur.

Harijs Witolinsch

The former striker of EHC Chur is quickly engaged in the conversation as a possible successor. Most recently in the KHL's assistant coach of SKA's best team St.Petersburg.

Kevin Schläpfer

Since his release from Kloten in April, the Basel bidder has been unemployed. However, its stock has dropped a little over a year. It will probably not land in Davos.
