Valentin Stocker also said that in recent days, he had first had to inform the latest status at the CBF. "I think I did everything right," laughs the winger, who does not seem to worry about the retirement of his close confidant Streller.
He now wants to focus on his own tasks, says Stocker: "As a player, we can not really influence the decisions that have fallen, but we can influence our performance in the field, and that's why it's important that we we had a good preparation and we could continue leaving aside. "
The coach will certainly remain the same as at the end of last season. Marcel Koller won the power struggle against Streller and will lead the FCB next season. "I think the president just wants the best for the club," said Van Wolfswinkel. For the Dutch striker, it is no longer "difficult" to cope with the situation. "We just have to play football, just what happens in the club is not in our hands."
And how was the atmosphere in the team during the first training after the summer holidays and chaotic days? "Very good," says Van Wolfswinkel, "we all had a good holiday and it's a pleasure to see our colleagues again and start training."
