System of a Down has released a new music video for one of their comeback singles in 2020, “Genocidal Humanoidz”. Co-directed by bassist Shavo Odadjian and Adam Mason, the new video features animation in addition to the performance footage. The video was released at the end of a live-streamed event this afternoon to raise funds for humanitarian causes such as non-profit organizations Armenia Fund and Armenia Wounded Heroes Fund. The release of the most recent System of a Down singles marked the group’s first new music in 15 years and also benefited the Armenia Fund. Frontman Serj Tankian recently teamed up with RATM guitarist Tom Morello to cover Gang of Four’s “Natural’s Not In It”.
