Taco Bell Hotel coming to Palm Springs

IRVINE, California (KABC) – This is an average hotel.

Taco Bell supports a hotel in Palm Springs, California, for three nights in August.

The fast-food chain says everything will be Taco Bell-themed, from decorating the room to the breakfast menu to dishes in the shape of spicy sauce packages.

There will be a gift shop with Taco Bell clothing, a lounge with Taco Bell nails and many Taco Bell dishes and cocktails. Some new menu items will also debut there.

Taco Bell, based in Irvine, does not yet say which hotel will host the event. Reservations will be available from June.

The promotion is unusual, but not completely unprecedented. McDonald's opened a hotel in Switzerland in 2001, featuring gilded headboards. He closed two years later.
