Target recalls baby and toddler clothing due to possible choking hazard

A spokesperson for the company told CNN that the products have already been removed from stores and the Target.com site.

She said there were no reported choking incidents.

The recall covers around 299,000 rompers that were on sale between July 2019 and October 2020, the agency said. Rompers have come in a number of styles in sizes ranging from newborn to 12 months.

The agency has received 16 reports of the snaps on the rompers breaking, detaching or missing, including one report of scratches and another of a pinched child.

There have been 27 reports of swimsuit snaps breaking or coming loose, including a laceration.

Approximately 181,000 swimsuits were recalled. They were sold between December 2019 and October 2020 in sizes ranging from 12 months to 5T.

Customers who have purchased the product can call Target Guest Relations at 800-440-0680 or return the products to a store for a refund.
