“There is something about the utter, utter uncertainty of life,” Taylor says of her decision to make the album. “If we are to recalibrate everything, we have to start with what we love the most.”
“It’s an album that lets you feel your feelings, and it’s a product of isolation,” she adds in another clip. “It could have been a point where I completely lost my mind, and instead I think this album was a real flotation device for both of us.”
